During check-in, a deposit in an amount determined by the property may be pre-authorized on the guest's credit card or requested in cash. Apart from services such as market, hairdresser, and water sports, any extra expenses incurred at the property (a la carte restaurants, minibar, paid beverages, etc.) or any material damage caused by the guest may be deducted from this deposit. If guests make no expenditures during their stay, the deposit is refunded on the day of check-out.

If the deposit was taken in cash, it is returned directly. For deposits taken by credit or debit card, the property submits a refund request to the bank. The time for the refund to appear on the card varies according to the bank's processing times.
